Welcome to Adventure Moto Rider! My name is Steve McQueen and I created Adventure Moto Rider as a way to mix two of my passions. Motorcycles and Technology. In addition to the blog you are reading now I also host a podcast from this site that is in all the leading places to find podcasts such as iTunes and blubrry podcast directory among others.

I am a father to some awesome children and grandchildren and a husband to a great wife. I spend much of my time feeding another passion which is raising funds for pediatric brain tumor research through the lovingBri Fund. This segment of the disease is one of the most underfunded areas of research in all areas of cancer research. I support Ride for Kids which is the largest fundraiser for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. My daughter, 9 year old Brianna Nicole McQueen lost her battle with a brain tumor on 3/21/2012 and that is what feeds this passion.

I have been riding for 30+ years mostly on cruiser type motorcycles. I am soon to start my thirteenth year as a MSF Ridercoach working for ABATE of Indiana. I have owned Hondas and Harleys and still have two Harleys sitting in the garage but they are now in front of my Suzuki Vstrom. I had been admiring the adventure moto lifestyle and my tastes changed drastically during Bri’s illness and prompted me to buy the strom. I don’t profess to know much about adventure riding but that is why I am here, both to learn from all of you and in turn use this venue to teach others. I am glad you are along for the ride and hope you will share the site and podcast with all your friends.

Hi Steve, found your podcast from a link from Sam Manicom.
Great podcast, looking forward to the interview with Sam, have read all 4 of his books, a great read.
Keep up the good work. Spring / Summer is on it’s way.
All the best from the Pyrénées France.

Thank you for your support and kind words Will. The interview with Sam was great. You ask a question and just shut up and listen. There is a wealth of knowledge passed during the interview and one hour is just not enough with someone like Sam. I hope you will share the podcast and blog with everyone! Safe riding my friend.
Best Regards
